| Man, this chapter left me feeling really bad for Regulus. Poor guy. He seems to have been born under an unlucky star. Great chapter--I loved the various character interactions and Hermione's response to being in Grimmauld Place. Well done.
Congratulations on being in a play! Which one is it? Author's Response: I hate doing all this to Regulus. And I think you're totally right about him being born under an unlucky star or something... especially considering what happens to him. As JKR said, he just got in too deep. I don't think he's an evil person, and I wanted to instill some amount of sympathy and understanding for the guy. And having Hermione go to Grimmauld Place, a location with many memories for her, and see it in all its former glory was just too fun to resist, so I'm glad you liked it. As for the play, I actually help run a small theatre company that does primarily original and fringe works. The show is called Pathways, and it essentially contains two plays that the audience splits to follow. Occasionally, the plays intersect. Other times, they travel in their own directions. I play multiple characters: the mother of light, a boy who thinks he's a vampire, a very butch Joan of Arc and a doctor. :) Thanks for reading and reviewing (and even giving me a moment to pimp the play). | Dementors? I bet Hermione's worst tear has changed since third year. What about - Adult Severus looking at her with such hatred that she wishes she had never been in the past (not that she wishes now) That will be the perfect way for Severus to find out about her true identity. I think this lattest chapters a little slow. They stop the development. They stop the action. There was a lot of action in the first few chapters. But you have lost it here. Author's Response: Nice theory about the way he finds out her identity. I have something convoluted planned for that. :) You're right that the last few chapters have been slower. It's been bugging me, too, but I needed some big character development and exposition time to get to what's coming.
