Hi there. I have been following this one from the first post...I follow your update posts in WIKTT ;-) EXCELLENT story... you have a terrific flow to your writing... and I love that you keep the humor fresh and yet the characters are not at all OOC. Terrific!

Author's Response: Wow. I'm really glad you like it. And thanks for letting me know you're following it from WIKTT. I'm also happy to hear that you like the humor and think the characters are staying in character. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!

This was wonderful as normal! I really appreciate you putting whether or not you update on wiktt, because that's mainly how I know that you've updated it. Write more soon!

Okey..I want to write somethin about this story, but english is not my native language...so please, forgive me if I`m going to make a mistake. I love stories with time turner. They are my favourite after Marriage Low. I like Snape in your story . When he is young and still not spying for the Order. The curiosity and suspicius about Hermione, how he try to read her mind ...is very good. This plot should be a little longer. But i think, that they are going to fast in the relationship. Snape should be very, very disttrustful. In all stories with time turner I love the part, when Hermione go back to her time and Snape stay alone, angry and with havy heart. And then after years he see Hermione at Sorting Ceremony... :-) Write more...I`m waiting!

Author's Response: Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a thoughtful review! I also love Snape when he's young, and I think this is a really interesting time in his life to explore. I think you're right that he is trusting her a little too easily right now... at least considering what we know of his character. But my hope is that a younger Severus is less jaded and maybe he really wants someone to know him. I think you're right, though, and we'll definitely see some distrust coming up as she starts getting more involved in his life. I can say that I will not be writing his reactions to her at any Sorting Ceremony... but she will eventually have to go back, and we will definitely see what changes she has caused (especially in him). Again, thank you for reading and reviewing. :)

Sometimes you just have to trust your instincts.

Author's Response: Absolutely! :)

Great chapter, I can really feel for Hermione, she is a stranger in a strange land so to speak.

Author's Response: Thanks. Yeah, I think it might be more weird to be in a place that is completely familiar and yet... off. Hogwarts but not her Hogwarts. And so forth. Thanks for commenting!

Ha! A habit of speaking her thoughts out loud indeed! I can't imagine it would have been a particularly pleasant thing on Severus' part to hear her mutter those same loathsome names he had been the object of from the Marauders, so I'll have to say there was a surprising lack on acrimony on his part when he rebuffed her. Dumbledore's addiction to sweets was so very endearing, though I especially adored that touch of realness it brought from the description of his toothache. Hermione was a touch more agitated in this chapter. On the one hand it's easy to see the time-travel jet-lag catching up with her; on the other, she is living with the risk of playing such a high-stake game (living where she has ended up without risking the future, risking her life or becoming stuck in what remains her past). I loved to see that touch of frailty and vulnerability when she broke down and cried in the castle; it's in keeping with canon reactions of just crying the fatigue and despair out of herself. You have come up with a fantastic way of bringing Hermione into the castle, of having Dumbledore find someone to keep Snape in check, of having the SS/HG relationship and dynamics develop further and to give Hermione the means of sending herself back to the future. Four reasons to squee, in all. The idea of meeting Harry is already so emotional, it will be interesting to see how the real thing goes (doubly so because we will presumably acquire a sense of Hermione's perspective of what Lily and especially big-headed 'toerag' James are like). The sizzling chemistry between our two favourite protagonists will also make us beg for some smut before long...

Author's Response: I think Severus likes seeing Hermione all riled up, regardless of what she might call him while doing it. Besides, he had her WAND; he had to be expecting some nasty rebukes. I like thinking of Dumbledore as being just as human as the rest of us. He's ridiculously powerful and nearly omniscient, of course, but I think regular problems like toothaches from too many sweets are a nice, normal problem for him to have. I'm really glad you liked it. I think Hermione's not really sure how to respond to the situation. She's second-guessing herself at every turn, and if she pauses to think about the possible recriminations of her existence in that time frame, she'll explode. Right now, I'm trying to keep her on simmer, and if she takes a little of it out on Snape... well, he probably deserves it. But we'll be seeing a much less agitated Hermione when she sees Harry. (Like you, I'm feeling very emotional about it.) And yeah, Hermione's a crier. :) Ah! You make me excited to right more. Thanks so much for all your time and comments on this story!
