Reviews for Snape, A History

Headquarters of Les Torpilles de Toulouse are on the Rue de Saint Hippolyte? I'm re-reading this favourite fic after many years (still loving it!), and this time the name of the street jumped out at me. Saint Hyppolytus, who wrote the "Canons of Hippolytus"? Please tell me I'm not indulging in wishful thinking and that there's a reference hidden in there! (Ron's moved from the Chudley Cannons to the "Cannons" of St. Hippolytus?) |

Loved it! Your Snape is exceptionally ic. He's complicated. I love that you didn't make Ron out to be just the absolute worst, and your story of the death of a marriage felt truthful. Thank you for all your hard work. |

Ugh Snape you dolt! Get over yourself! Very accurate to the books, though. |

I knew it! I knew those rat bastards were up to no good with her work! BTW I love your Snape. Very true to life (so to speak) |

I know you wrote this story years ago, but I just happened upon it and I loved it! I think you write Snape exceptionally well. I love that they were friends first. Bravo. |

Would have really liked some more romance. This is a SS/HG story yet you seemed incredibly focused on Ron. Don't get me wrong, I like Ron, I just would've preferred the final scene be with her husband and not her ex. |

I can't believe I didn't leave a final review either of my previous two readings. Here's my latest excuse to give you yet another "10"--and well worth it! |

People with more romance in their souls find that last discussion funny. Yet there's something to be said about that simple, honest set of declarations. And it's romantic in its own non-romantic way. |
