Reviews for Snape, A History

I seriously do a little jig every time I see a new chapter of Snape: A History in the queue. And I love that Snape is not the impoverished recluse that Hermione thought him to be, but rather a successful and independently weathy manufacturer. That caught her up short!

Author's Response: Yes, Snape has surprised galore for Hermione. But she'll survive - eventually!

I love this chapter, Hermione learns what happens when one assumes too much about something!! Thanks for the update, and looking forward to more.

Author's Response: Thanks so much for reading. 'Assume' can be divided thusly - if you assume, it makes an ass of u and an ass of me. Lesson learned by Hermione!

This story is simply wonderful. It has that same grown-up feeling that "Into the North" had as well. And I love the way you keep them in character. Wonder how she will sort the hair, though...

wow, I love this story!
I'm guessing that he's going to go to the party... Is he?
It would be a bit pointless if he didn't.
I mean, he has to, right?

I can see their relationship slowly building; even though they're not flirting or being extremely nice to each other.

just the fact that they're meeting in the pub almost once every week is good enough for me!
I like the pace of this story.
I see good things coming in the future :]

great story!
keep writing and please update soon.

Author's Response: Thanks for your kind words. Yes, Severus and Hermione are the king and queen of the slow-paced romance. It just wouldn't be believable otherwise, would it?

*sing songy voice* "he's going to go-ohhh, he's going to go-ohhh" heehee!

Ahhh what a lovely scene that will be to watch...Snape and his snarkiness with all the stuffy MoM dignitaries!

Lovely chappie just like the others, and the glowing reviews are only there because you earn them!! Can't wait for an update!

Author's Response: Of course he's going to go. Was there ever any doubt? The updates are available, it's just slow posting here. Thanks for reading!

I really love the pacing of this story. The tentative circling and undiscovered attraction seems right in line with the characters personalities and Hermione's status as recently separated. At the same time, things are moving along fast enough to remain extremely interesting.

Also, I just moved from Wisconsin to Massachusetts and only got my computer online last night. Finding this update was a real treat!

Author's Response: Those two do love to dance circles around each other, don't they? And it is tricky to keep the pacing as it is. Thanks for reading and reviewing, and I hope you've recovered from your move!
