Reviews for Snape, A History

I am so glad to see you didn't follow the usual storyline of Ron cheating on Hermione and have them both maturely realizing that things are not working out. So, now I turn my thoughts to..."she's free for Snape." :) Another excellent chapter as always and i actually understood all the French! Look at that. My honors French classes paid off ten years down the road. :) Merci pour le fiction extrodinare!

Author's Response: You never know when that French will come in handy, do you? Thanks for reading.

I have been reading your story now well since the beginning. I have never reviewed it because I thought wwell they know that they are doing agood job. But I just wanted you to know that it is a good story, well written. I think that it is very realistic also. Keep up the good work.

Author's Response: We always love to hear when we're doing a good job! Thanks!

I was enjoying the story, well, until I read "La Ministère des Egoutes", that would be "Le Ministère des Egouts" (since it's all male) and since it's on a sign, we drop the article, so it would be "Mistère des Egouts" really. The Floo would be the cheminette not chiminette (as stated in Harry Potter translations here). And it's "omelette au fromage" and not "à fromage"... Sorry to sound that bitchy but really, don't use a langage you don't know enough to at least manage a few basic sentences.

Author's Response: I was always under the impression that when you attempt to speak the language in a foreign country, the people there appreciate your efforts. It has been 15 years since my beta studied French, and a heck of a lot longer than that for me. I was rather proud of our joint efforts; sorry you didn't appreciate our hard work.

Ahhh. Wow. I'm glad this wasn't a Ron the jerk kind of divorce

Author's Response: No, Ron's definitely not a jerk. It just didn't work out. After all, how could she get together with Severus if she and Ron were still together?

Well, that went well, didn't it? Here's hoping her life gets better, and soon. Thanks for the update!

Author's Response: Life will get better - eventually. Thanks for reading!

Ohhh, that scene was such sweet sorrow. She really should have seen this coming....

Author's Response: Sometimes the people who are closest are the least aware of what's actually happening. Thanks for the review.

Interesting start. Please, please don't have Ron cheating on her. Have him moving on, fine, but not cheating. Please. This is really good. I look forward to seeing where you're going next...

Fascinating story line and one whose further chapters I will eagerly anticipate! I, too, am older than the average fanfic reader, with teenagers at home to disabuse any notion of their romantic maturity (or any other sort). Thank you for your contributions!
