Good riddance to Weasley! I'm glad she's moving on with her life. This line is part of the reason why I find Snape's character so fascinating: "She found herself alternately annoyed with Severus Snape, saddened by his plight in life, and heartened by his attempts to make his life count for something over the decades." Well done! The meeting with the publishers was very realistic and the fact that Hermione won't earn a lot or that a lot of publishers are fighting to get her book done pleases me in a way. Hermione has to struggle and work hard to get recognition -and that's something she had to do in school as well. Hermione in the books was never one to whom all the good things just happened like this. And I think that Hermione and Severus have a lot more in common than people might think. That "don't be rediculous" -phrase works very nicely for both of them -I can just imagine them saying something like this. I think that's because it infuriates both of them whenever people are "slower" than they are or when somebody doesn't understand their point. Good characterisation! I'm looking forward to your next chapter, garnet. Author's Response: Good point about Severus or Hermione being infuriated when someone is 'slower' than them. So true! More soon. | |||
