| Wow. I just started reading this fic when the chap 8 update came in. It's great, but I'm not sure that Hermione would be so cruel as to promise Severus she'd never leave, all the while knowing she'd have to go back eventually. Sirius's heart-to-heart was very dramatic and fit to his character - he would be the type to wear his heart on his sleeve. *I shouldn't be talking though, cause so do I.* Author's Response: I'm glad you are enjoying it. No, Hermione would never intentionally be cruel but her emotions were all over the place when she said that. She wasn't thinking. Don't worry, all will work out. I'm glad you liked Sirius' speech. I think that he would definately allow himself to believe that he is in love. And don't worry, I wear my heart on my sleeve sometimes, too. It is only human to do so once in a while.
