Reviews for It All Comes Down To Time

Firewall2006.06.17 - 01:11PM12: Chapter TwelveSigned
The man simply can't let things go when he's hurt, can he? Poor Severus but poor Hermione. She's hurting too. Dumbledore is very much the manipulator we get hints of in canon. I wanted to boot him when he said Hermione must answer for getting involved. Hello? Who is the adult here? JenKM, carry on you are doing a wonderful job. My condolences to your husband, you and your family on the loss of his father.

Author's Response: No, Severus seems to live in perpetual misery. He needs to learn to move past that. Hermione is definitely hurting right now, as well. I have had a few people tell me that they didn't like that way I am portraying Dumbledore, but he has gone up against two evil wizards. He has to have some grit in there somewhere.

Thank you so much for your condolances. It was not unexpected, which has made it easier to bear. Your words are appreciated.

Thank you for your compliments. I appreciate and thank you for your review. :)

Look - look at that - it's a tear. *sniff* That was definitely the best chapter to date, made all the more moving by the fact that I can hear my friend's newborn daughter crying from over the garden fence. Heh, don't ask why, I'm just far too emotional to be a Slytherin. Poor Hermione, is all I can say. Forgive the comparison, but Severus joining the Death Eaters to find his child is reminiscent of Anakin from the Star Wars film, Revenge of the Sith. But this story is much better, anyway. :-) I think that Dumbledore was just plain stupid in his anger, but at least Severus realised it was DD's fault in the end. Poor Hermione! I feel so sorry for her and feel like poking Severus angrily. It was his last comment that generated the tear. Great story! Keep it up!

Author's Response: I love eliciting emotional responses in my readers. It is wonderful compliment. Don't worry, I am an extrememly emotional Slytherin. I took a quiz that labeled me as a Slytherdor. LOL! I have two children, so I can fully understand hearing a child would make things more emotional.

Star Wars... I guess it is a bit reminiscent of that, but I had not even thought about it until you mentioned it. And better than Star Wars? Wow! Thanks! I don't know what to say!

Dumbledore made a bad mistake. He should be blamed for not letting Hermione explain things to anyone first. Severus is holding onto his anger. He can be very cruel at time. Thank you so much for your compliments. I truly appreciate your words. :)

ohhh god this chapter was devastating!! I am bawling my eyes out!!! poor sevvy felt betrayed and poor HG might lose her baby *sob* great chapter btw :D

Author's Response: An emotional response is always the best compliment. Everyone is feeling devestated and hurt. It is a difficult situation. Thanks for your compliment. I appreciate your words. :)

Yes Severus! Let's throw her into shock again.... But I'm glad Dumbledore got his due, at least Severus knows who to blame.

Author's Response: Severus is not handling the influx of emotions very well. Dumbledore is beginning to realize how big his mistake really was. We'll see more soon. Thanks! :)

Harsh. I hope that Aiden lives it'll kill both Hermione and Severus if he does. I wish they could just pick up where they left off and be happy that they are together again. But I guess things aren't that easy.

Author's Response: Things are never as easy as we hope for them to be. Especially considering that it has been so very long for Severus. Chapter thirteen will take us through some of the issues they need to work through together. Thank for your review! :)

Oh, he SO needs to get over himself! Men, huh? Great chapter, I love the name Aiden! If my girls were boys that is what I was going to name them....evil cliffie, I want to know the baby is doing fine! Sev and Hermioine have been through enough now without losing their child on top of it all and he already loves the baby, it would be his redemption methinks. My deepest condolences to your husband, but the selfish part of me says to tell you to update soon regardless!

Author's Response: I swear it, men have a time of the month, too. LOL! I'm glad you like the name Aiden. My husband and I have discussed adopting a child when our are a bit older, and if we do, I'll name a boy Aiden.

Severus and Hermione have been through a lot. I wrote them that way and still feel sorry for them. Aiden would certainly be Severus' redemption. As mothers, we both know how a child can change a person.

Thank you for your condolances. We are working through the difficult time, but it wasn't unexpected, so that has made it a bit easier. I have thirteen halfway written, so I will do my best to get it done soon. Thank you so much for your review. :)
