Anyway, I can't wait until you post more. I loved what you did with tying the Marauder's Map into canon, so I'm really interested to see what you do with Hermione's baby and Severus' descent into evil.

Author's Response: I'm so glad you decided to review. I have received a bit of flack from someone who emailed me about my characterizations of Severus and Hermione. Your description of their characters is exactly what I was trying to get across. I also appreciate you pointing out that Hermione was making her choice based on her morals. Madam Pomfrey did indeed ask her what she wanted to do, and the rest was up to Hermione. I was very careful to write this from Hermione's point of view so that it wouldn't come across as preachy. It did come down to Hermione's personal decision. I think it would have been unfair to leave her thought process out. It would have left a void as to why she decided to keep the baby. And that definitely wouldn't have gone over well with readers. I'm also thrilled you commented on the Marauder's Map. I love that little bit. It just came to me when I was writing. The thought to add that part in had never occured to me before. It just sort of flowed from my fingertips. The baby and the decent to evil are going to be big parts of the story, for obvious reasons, from this point. I hope you continue to enjoy. Thank you so much for a wonderfully detailed review.
