| wow what a ending to this chapter. i tried to read this chapter earlier this week but Bible school kept me busy.. waiting for more. p

It took much longer for this chapter to get updated here than it did elsewhere. They are so busy right now. Ah, Bible School. We meet in a school for church, so we don't have Bible School yet. | Fantastic!!!! I was so happy to see the latest update to this story... I love how Severus and Hermione are starting to work things out, at least a little. Glad that Ron is being understanding to Hermione... she needs as much support as possible. I can't wait to see what happens next with Harry, talk about poking a serpent with a stick. He's playing with fire, for sure! Author's Response: Thanks! Yes, Severus and Hermione are working on things. Let's just hope Severus puts his issues behind him. And Ron is being kind. | I guess we can't respond back to you on a previous review, can we? :o)~
I don't want you to think that my opinion of the story is negative. Unfortunately I was running out of time to submit the review and I just had to get that off my chest! (my dad makes our network cut out at midnight... *sigh*) I was just responding rather emotionally since I was a premie myself. I would hate to see any baby die (even if he's just a fictional one...)
After getting into the story it started growing on me and I was very disgruntled when it had only gotten to the point where Dumbledore forcefully sent her back in time! Thankfully you write fast :oD Although it is a time travel fic (a genre I enjoy) it's different from others I've read. Surprisingly, I think I've only read one other story where Hermione gets accidently pregnant... Not that that's the only difference ;o)
My brain hurts when I think too much about time travel, but either Hermione was the cause of Snape's turning to the "dark side" all along, or her involvement wasn't allowed to change the course of Snape's future. The latter theory of time travel (that if you were able to go back, you can't in fact change the course of history) is relatively new to me, and somehow makes the most sense. If one looks at time travel in any other fashion it creates a terrible paradox! Why am I blathering on about this... lol
Anyway! I have enjoyed your story and it's intracacies, and I look forward to the next installments... though perhaps with some trepidation :o)~ Author's Response: I was unsure of whether you liked the story or not with your previous review. Nice of your dad to cut off the network. LOL! Sorry about that. I agree about hating to see a baby die. Though my son wasn't a premie, (he was actually ten days late), I nearly lost him. He was not breathing when he was born and was totally blue. It was a scary exerience, which is why I poured so much emotion into this chapter. I can relate to the sheer panic of being terrified that I might lose my child. It was, by far, the scariest moment of my entire life. He is a healthy, rambunctious three-year-old now, thank God. I have tried very hard to make my story different from others in this genre. I like the theory of not being able to change the future when you travel into the past. Sort of like Back to the Future, when Marty goes back and almost erases his existance because his mother and father almost didn't get together because of his interference. And don't worry about going on with the theory. Adult conversation is much preferred to three and almost two year old conversation. LOL! I am very relieved that you did, in fact, enjoy the story. You can't please everyone, but it is disheartening to get a review telling you how terrible it is. Not that you did that, but you know what I mean, right? :) Chapter thirteen is in the queue now. Hope you like it. And thanks for explaining yourself. I was left wondering. :) | |||
