| I was reading through the other readers' comments, and I too am convinced that your take is true...it sure is the most plausible one I've read, and the one I most readily accept because I do so want for Snape to truly be the hero in the end. If JKR makes him a villain after all, I shall never read anything of hers again...this is NOT to say I think he is a nice guy, I just think he isn't truly Voldemort's creature, he's Dumbledore's. ~HR Author's Response: Ah yes, but I've found in the past that however much I twist my theories, JKR always twists the plot further than I could have imagined. I want Snape to be a hero too. What I DON'T want is him to turn out to be his mother taking Polyjuice Potion to be Severus - which is another possibility I've been mulling over. | Wonderful! I think you filed it under the wrong category though, there's definitely a plot here. I'm not sure I fully understand the "double murder" part, but I love how you had Severus seeing the Dark Lord's soul behind Dumbledore's eyes. The part about James possibly being under Voldemort's control is also intriguing. Thanks for sharing this story! Author's Response: Well, I think there must be some reason for Tom Riddle to have taken the two children from the home into the cave. Why two? It seems to me to be a JKR flag for something more. A hint that he may have doubled up in the cave again and murdered two people to save two Horcruxes. Just an idea. As for Severus seeing Voldie's soul behind Dumbledore's eyes - I think it has to be something like that. It's either Voldie's soul or he saw that Dumbledore was actually really evil -and I can't bring myself to think that. Thanks for reviewing. Lol. | |||

| All your theories--the Horcrux potion, Severus and Lily, the love potion--are wonderfully intriguing and you managed to maintain a healthy dose of originality, despite all the now-familiar rumors and ideas floating about the HP world after the release of HBP. I, along with apparently, all your other readers, would love to see a sequel to this, although it works marvelously as a one-shot. I adore your characterizations of Severus and Hermione, as well. Wonderful work! : ) Author's Response: I haven't really read many rumors and theories - I couldn't get past Mugglenets password to get into the HBP discussions! | I like this interpretation of what may happen after HBP. I like that Hermione has him so figured out and poses as a real equal to Snape. I like how they came together (no pun intended) and felt things shift between them permanently. I think if the inspiration hits, you should continue this! I'd love to see what happens next. Does he hide her in the room where Wormtail used to go? Does she help him as a go-between with the Order? Does their relationship develop? Oh the places this could go!!! Thanks! Author's Response: Thank you. I think the image that Hermione and Severus are both of equal intelligence and talent is what makes them probably the most popular ship in fandom, so I was keen to show it in my story. | This is so not PWP! this is awesome :) I love the theory...what I don't love is the abrupt ending! ;) I would beg you to continue, but I'm sure everyone already has :D Author's Response: I know, I'm sorry about the ending. I didn't have any idea where I could take the story after their encounter, and I decided I'd rather leave an interesting ending than her just returning to Hogwarts. Thanks for reviewing. lol. | |||
