I think that your Hermione is a little too capable and possessing too much advanced knowledge...that being said, what an extarordinary fic you have written!
Author's Response: An interesting review. It made me stop and think. Too much advanced knowledge? Well, Hermione had to have done her research (as she would), in order to get my thoughts across on what happened in HBP. I think it's realistic that she worked out about the Horcrux; perhaps less so about James/Lily/Snape - but I do believe something is going to come out of that index of crimes and punishments that Snape got Harry to go through in HBP. To me, it was a bit of a dead-end thread. They will find some kind of information in there in book seven, I think. As for being too capable - I believe the whole Severus/Hermione ship thing was probably founded on the fact she solved Snape's riddle in the first book. It brings her up to his level, and we saw this and expanded it to make them compatible in intelligence - and then the whole ship began. I wanted him to be shocked by her abilities; to make them equals. Especially with how the story ends, as we now know that if they really are in this together, she'll be a help rather than a hindrance. These are my thoughts on your comments. Thanks for reading and reviewing. I am pleased to you enjoyed the story. Lol. |

Yes a very cruel ending. There best be another story.. Love your story it brought up new ideas for the HBP book. Have a great day. Patty
Author's Response: Oh good. I lived up to my Slytherin ways! Hehehe. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing. Lol. |

You have some good ideas in here. A lot of what you say makes sense. Some of it is a stretch... James Potter an agent of the Dark Lord? ;o) But if you take out the shagging in the first chapter, you could make an awesome full length story out of this. I'd love to read it :o)
As it is, great writing! The reactions and speech are very natural, and as I said, many of your ideas make a lot of sense. I hope to someday see this in a longer form ;o)
Author's Response: Thanks for your review. It just seems to me that the books are hinting that James and Sirius were a bit more than just trouble makers, and it made me wonder just how far it went, and I'm sure the answer will be in that index of crimes and punishments. Sorry, but I don't have any plans to expand the story. Lol. |

THERE NEEDS TO BE A SEQUAL - THERE BETTER BE A SEQUAL.

AAAAARGH!!! Brilliant, brilliant theory. In my mind I am currently balancing between this theory and Fervesco's "Fallacy", and now I will be quite disappointed if book #7 goes by and Snape is not redeemed or at least explained. My, my, what awesome minds there are out there (yours of course included).
But I should really like to know who is at the door... "Someone's at the door!" (American Gothic, tee hee) :-)
Author's Response: Thank you. Thank you. I shall have to trot along to 'Fallacy' to read the theory there. Yes, I will be more than disappointed if Snape is not redeemed in book seven - I shall have considered all the time I've spent reading the books a waste of time - and I shall give JKR the evil eye forever! Thanks for your review. Lol. |

Awsome! Sorta how i pictured the real events had taken place. Well without the sex... that's for the fanfiction world only. But I believe that Snape was told by Dumbledore to kill him... But no need to ramble on as you told basically the same story. I loved it.
Author's Response: Yes, it would be quite a shock if canon Hermione went off with canon Snape, wouldn't it? Hehehe. Thanks for reading and reviewing. Lol. |

"taste my consent" that line made my day! I love the ending! Great story.
Author's Response: I'm so pleased you liked that line, it was one of my favourites, too. And approval is gradually trickling through for the ending - I like it when readers like the ending. Sometimes it's good not to have everything tied up in a neat bow, isn't it? Thanks so much for reading and reviewing. lol. |
