| Fantastic, Im not to sure about the James angle but I love the set up and the struggle, the whole meeting is very visceral and physical.... So you must tell us who is at the door???? Author's Response: You are taking it for granted I know who's at the door! The James angle is just something that occured to me from the 'you would use my own inventions against me like your filthy father,' line in the HBP. | Wow. Just... wow. Am now so pent up, must go in search of hubby...
The love potion thing seems a bit unlikely, in canon context. Smart woman that she is, even if Lily was involved with Severus, she could certainly have chosen someone a little less moody and emotionally demanding than him, ergo James, of her own volition. The whole thing's no more unlikely than SS/HG though, I suppose :-) Author's Response: I just occured to me that when Snape in HBP shouts at Harry 'you would use my own inventions against me like your filthy father'. I thought it might have meant more than the Levicorpus incident, and love potions had been mentioned in the book previously. Strange what sets a theory going, isn't it? I'm not sure I meant that Lily was 'involved' with Severus romantically. I think it was just her generous nature and their working together that made them good friends. I'm thankful for your 'Wow'. I'm always pleased to put a Wow in people's heads! Lol. | |||

| That was brilliant! Lily married James under a love potion... never would have thought of that, but Harry probably would never want to learn of the truth of where Lily's heart lies.
