I liked the story, but you can't leave it there! What happens next???

Author's Response: Thank you. I'm so pleased you liked the story, but I'm sorry, I am leaving it there. Because I'm evil. Hehehe. Lol.

I like your thinking. This is the best theory I've heard so far. Your story was great - very sweet. Great ending too. I think that the person at the door is R.A.B. (who I don't think is Regulus Black!), but obviously only you know if that guess is right!!! Hugs RR

Author's Response: I'm pleased you liked the theory. I shall expire from shock if it's anywhere near the truth. All my previous theories have usually been blown apart by JKR's incredible imagination taking us somewhere I never dreamed. But as long as our sexy professor turns out to be a good guy (and survives book seven), I shan't complain. As to the person at the door - I suppose it could be R.A.B. but would he necessarily be aware that Severus is an ally? Thanks for r+r, and for the hugs - I need some at the moment. Lol.

I wish it to be just a lil girl. hehe. and i liked this. this is the first hbp fan fic i've read and i have to say it was very good. hardly nc-17 though

Author's Response: Thanks very much. It's probably not a lil girl, coz I kind of pictured this meeting to be a bit too late at night when lil girls should be tucked up in bed, but perhaps it's a different sort of insignificant Muggle. I gave the story an 'L' rating simply because of the 'taste my consent' line. I thought it maybe skipped over the line just a little. So pleased you enjoyed the story. Thanks for leaving a review. Lol.

This story is brilliantly exquisite. I can see why you ended it where you did, but this could easily be a full-fledged multi-chapter story if you ever got the inspiration to continue with it. Awesome job. The theories are completely plausible and thought-provoking.

Author's Response: 'brilliantly exquisite'. Mmmm, I like your choice of words very much. They've made me feel good. Yes, I'm sure this story could go on to be a very interesting epic, but sadly the muse is not with me and it always was going to be a one-shot. Who knows where fanfiction will be by the time we've all read book seven. Thanks for your lovely review. I'm glad to have provoked your thoughts. Lol.

Oh, bravo. You have managed so well to pick up the threads from HBP. Most of your theories were surprisingly... sane (after the stuff I've read...), and I agree with you. Except the Lily/James/Love Potion thing, even though the reasons are purely sentimental. I mean, the theory is very feasible technically, but I always imagined James to be a good guy. I know that's a very uni-dimensional approach to thinking, but don't you kind of figure that JKR's whole style of writing is sort of the same thing? I mean, good is good and bad is bad? No shades of grey. Gryffindors are brave and loyal, Slytherins are evil and mutter to themselves in the corner about plans of world domination. So, you can see why that theory rang a little strangely with me. Still, everything else, I believe, is perfect. You've got everything down just right. Hermione is herself and so is the mean, sarcastic, neurotic bastard we all know and swoon over. Oh, and thank you sooo much for crediting Hermone with the intelligence and power she possesses. Many other fanfics don't seem to believe that's neccessary ; ) The duelling (and the alley-cat fighting) were absolutely thrilling! I don't think it's been done before (or, if it has, I havent come across it.). And the sex isn't abrupt at all! I mean, it is, a little, but it fits in so well with the whole mood of the situation ("Taste my consent"? :raises eyebrow and smirks: Man, I LOVE that line! I'll make sure I use it someday, if I ever grow past sixteen :D). And also, thank you for not making your 'After-It Talk' excruciating (it's usually the worst part, you know. I literaly have to grit my teeth and make it through ; D). And how can I ever refrain from commenting on the ending? :evil smirk: It must have been the easy way out, I realize, but it was cruel, nonetheless. But don't do anything to add a sequel unless it is absolutely neccessary, please, because the whole beauty of your writing lies in conciseness and in it's simplicity (and not in a bad way!). Overall, a job very well done. I'm sorry, I'm in a bit of a chatty mood tonight and I've just realized I've been rambling and raving for the past eight minutes. I'll stop now. Keep up the good work! I'll make sure to check out your other fiction and publicise it to the best of my ability. Cheers!

Author's Response: Oh, thank you for a lovely long review. I didn't mind at all that you were in a chatty mood. I think that's the first time the word 'sane' has been applied in my direction. Good is good and bad is bad? Well, perhaps, but what JK usually does is make us think a person is either bad or good, and then it turns out we're wrong. Think about Quirrill; and Sirius. They both turned out to be the opposite to what we thought in the beginning. So perhaps James could turn out to be a bad guy. He certainly didn't seem to be very nice. He and Sirius appear to have been bullies - more like Draco than Harry (and how the hell does Harry know whether his father strutted or not? I'm with Snape on this. I'm with Snape, full stop). It just wouldn't surprise me, that's all. I'm so pleased you liked the fighting. I think the key to the SS/HG ship is that they're equal - that means power as well as intelligence, and that's what I tried to portray here. I had to stop Hermione's knee before it made contact, though. Snape is not the sort of man I want to imagine doubled up from a knee in the privates. Thanks so much for a really interesting review. I would be really happy to see you over at my other stories. Lol, Severusgirlx

I'm sure I reviewed this before, but I just wanted to say it needs a seq-(slaps self). Actually, I was just saying to Chartreuse that there only three British authors on Ash that I know of and she remembered this

"I am British and it's the way we spell it. We don't use as many Zs as you do in the US. Lol."

I 'apologize', we really are neighbours! Let's show our colours and have lots of Dark Revelling! *hugs* warty x

Author's Response: Really? Are there really that few Brits? Who are the others? Perhaps we really should get together for a firewhisky or two at the Leaky Cauldron (my man claims to know exactly where it is!). Lol, Severusgirlx
