Hi! Your theory about Lily and Sev sounds very fitting, I wouldn't be surprised if it was true! The reason why Sev has killed Dumbie is the same I've come up with, too. I didn't really understand, though, why Hermione and Sev think James could have been a Death Eater. I hope he wasn't! I also hate to think that Lily married him only because of the Love Potion...
Author's Response: I'm not sure I meant that James might have been a fully-fledged DE. I think perhaps just working for him. I definitley believe James had a side that wasn't very nice - it does seem to be James and Sirius doing the attacking and Severus defending himself. The love potion idea came from Snape shouting at Harry 'you would use my own inventions against me like your filthy father'. I got to thinking what if it wasn't just the Levicorpus Snape was refering to? What if it was a love potion? Thanks for reading my story and for reviewing. Lol. |

This story is really wonderful. I love your theory about DD, although not sure about James. If that were a twist it would be quite interesting, though. Mostly, I wanted to say how well written this was; really, really good. And the characterisations were totally on the money.
Author's Response: Thanks for your comments about my writing. You don't know how good that makes me feel. I know the theory about James is a bit iffy, but I do believe he was naughtier than we've been led to believe. Lol. |

hmmmm...nice ashwindery twist to a theory me and my friends have also been bandying about...Well written too.
Author's Response: I wonder which theory you have - the Lily one, or the Horcrux? Thanks for reading and reviewing. Lol. |

Well done. The connection between Snape's actions and Dumbledore's means to an end, the fight between Snape and Hermione, the ending.....just well done.
Author's Response: Thanks. I'm so pleased you enjoyed it. Lol. |

Awwww, c'mon, you've got to continue. It's not all fair to just let your reader hang like that! Love the story and I really do hope you would consider continuing with it.:)
Author's Response: No sequel planned, I'm afraid. Even I don't know who's at the door! Thanks for reading. Lol. |

Ah, finally you published your one-shot... I remembered what you wrote in your E-mail; why would you ever consider not publishing this? My dear Severusgirl, it's brilliant! I've always loved this Horcrux theory of yours (that Dumbledore drank it), and you've expertly worked it into this story. Your portrayal of them both was great, though I must say especially Hermione was a thrill to read - this is truly the intelligent, resourceful, brave witch we've come to know and love...! Their interaction was believable, and I'm glad you made them fight a bit - I think they probably would have, were this to have happened. Finally, no matter what other reviewers say - I really liked the ending! This is a one-shot, after all - kind of like a short story - and the endings are essential for such stories to work. They're meant to be surprising, and to leave the reader wondering... Needless to say, yours did! I loved it; really did. Though I shall not deny, were you to write a sequel I wouldn't mind reading it...! :) Wouldn't mind reading more of your stuff, period! So please, keep writing, darling...! :) - Grill
Author's Response: Oh Grill, you're always so nice. I was worried the story would sound just what it was - a sounding board for my theories (I do have another, more terrifying theory - but that's for another day). I'm pleased you liked Hermione. I guess even a witch will resort to a knee in the balls when having to fight a man! I'm glad you liked the ending. I wanted to leave with a thrill of danger. Can't see a sequel in the offering - although I do have an idea for another one-shot. Thanks for reading, Grill. It's always a thrill to have you in the audience. Lol. |
