| A nice show of compassion on Snape's part. Part of me says he enjoys what he does to the point he would miss this role in her life and may not be that disappointed if she didn't wake. The other part says that he does hate to see her abilities not filled to full potential. Compairing her to his mother would explain a need he has to help her. Author's Response: Yes! | oooh, this is a bit different from the usual read! Except I think it needs some sort of afterthought, like to as if she eventually woke up, and perhaps what she chose/ her reaction to being married without knowing. Perhaps she heard?

| Oh, I do like it. It's a different sort of Severus. I like that he admits things to her in that state. I must say that I was surprised that he'd "shag" her while unaware of anything, but I supposed it had to be down to keep her parents at bay and make things legal. At least he admitted to crying about it with Potter / Lupin. I do think you should continue. It would be great to see what Hermione has to say and if she heard any of it. | I read this earlier today and didn't review (my bad!) but since you are thinking of continuing and asked for concrit (on WIKTT), I thought I'd throw my two cents in. :) I really enjoyed the story, and I would definitely like to see you continue it - hopefully to Hermione waking up. The one thing I didn't like so much was that the entire thing was dialogue. I understand the idea of the story was Severus talking to Hermione, telling him everything he was doing to reassure her, but if would have been nice to hear what he was thinking, too. Was he despairing at the situation? Wondering if she was ever going to wake up? Why did he marry her under such circumstances? Was there any history between them before whatever caused her to be like this? Anyway, great job. I do hope you decide to continue, and I hope my comments help! :) Author's Response: I really appreciate your taking the time to think about my fic and comment on it. | This is something wonderfully new, but only one chapter and it's finished? I would love to read more, perhaps several chapters, one in Hermione's POV and then the next from Severus.
