A very powerful point that happens many times with persons who have even a little bit of fame and become incapacitated. The same happened with Christopher Reeve. Friends did not care about what he would have perceived as violations of his privacy as they posted photos of his surgeries, recoveries, and other behavior that he would have deemed immoral. His friends only cared what his fans saw of him because his fans are what made all of his money. One of his friends went so far as to start a fangroup that donated money to his recovery. None of this money was ever needed and was used completely toward gearing to making more money before the Reeve family stopped it.
Ginny isn't thinking about Hermione, she's thinking about her own grief and making sure that Hermione's fame doesn't fade with time. Ginny may think she is doing the right thing, but all in all it (like Reeve) will only hamper her recovery. Taking pictures of Hermione in that state? What the hell was she thinking? I would love to be a fly on the wall during that fight with Harry.

Author's Response: Wow - I hadn't thought of that. There's an ulterior motive, but it isn't what you are thinking. Let's just say that Ginny and Colin aren't the only contributors to the article...Annie |

I love how you change your storytelling format for each chapter. It's funny that Severus still calls him Potter even after all they have been through. Please update again in just the same pace as last time. The story has great potential (more of Hermione's thoughts please!)
Author's Response: I hadn't realized until this chapter that I was shifting formats as well as points of view. I hope I can keep it going! I'm working on another chapter right now, but not Hermione yet. I'm glad you're enjoying the story! Annie |

YAY!! A new chapter!!! Hmm.... shouldn't they be opening her eyes daily - if not for more aggressive Legilimency, just to make sure she doesn't go blind from not exercising her eye muscles? Amazing that her Muggle parents are more perceptive than the wizards. I hope someone starts reading to her from the newspaper, so that she knows what's happening in the world. I hope you update again soon!!
Author's Response: One of the things that have always intrigued me is the limitations of the wizarding world; in their own way they are as dependent on and limited by magic as Muggles are on technology. You are right about the eyes...I hadn't thought of that! Thanks for reviewing, Chapter 4 is on its way...Annie |
