| I like this little expository piece. Touching, informative, insightful. It gives a good a believable background to Severus and his youth. He may seem a little OOC to others, but I'd like to think that behind closed doors, he let's the mask slip and he is his truer self. I would like to see a sequel where Hermione does wake up either tomorrow or another six months later. Perhaps we can have a one shot of Hermione and what she is thinking? Is she aware of what Severus is saying and what has happened, or is her mind caught in a loop reliving what put her in this condition? When or if she wakes, will she remember anything? Perhaps two more one-shots. One of what is going through Hermione's mind in this vegetative state and one more one-sot wherre she awakes and decides to stay with Severus or not. Author's Response: You're asking the right questions! My follow-up is set 6 months later and is Hermione's point of view. So far it's working (crosses fingers). | Definitely needs more. What happened to her to make her that way? Does she wake up? Does she stay with Severus? Do he and Harry actually get along?
The story itself was great, like I said though, just needs a bit more. Author's Response: There is more to come, with some of the answers for you. As I was writing, the fellowship among Severus, Remus, and Harry was the most inexplicable thing (I certainly didn't plan it). I'm hoping it will explain itself as I continue to write. Thanks!
