He lacked all outward signs of the qualities that would mark him a true Slytherin, yet he became one. Aw I can really feel Minerva's pain - this was even more touching then the first chapter! Fantastic - but sooo sad!
Author's Response: Yes, it's really painful to learn that you've completely misjudged another (and to have them be a child, who suffered because of that misjudgement, must be particularly difficult for Minerva). I'm glad you are liking my story! |

I have to say - I just adore this story! Your writing style is so effortlessly natural. It's a pleasure to read.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm so glad! (Of course, if you had any idea of what I put my poor beta through...) Annie |

I like the way that you are telling this story; first from three different points of view (with three different voices- well done), and then through lettters and articles. The story has real heart, and is compelling because of what is at stake. I'm waiting for the sparks to fly when Hermione fianlly gets to speak clearly for herself- (does Ms. Umbridge need to hide?).
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm having fun playing with the different voices (and letters and articles are just muted versions of their writers' voices as well).
I suspect that, by the time Hermione gets to face Umbridge, it'll be like swatting flies. She's faced a lot since she led that evil b*tch into the Forbidden Forest! Thanks for reviewing...Annie |

How beautifully written! Great chapter. I am hoping that we will see her wake up soon. Do they eventually live happily ever after? Please???? Thanks for the update!
Author's Response: I have a deep personal commitment to happy-ever-afters. It's just getting there that is challenging, and Severus and Hermione will have to start from scratch to build a relationship. But they'll get started soon...Annie |

I've been enjoying this story a great deal, but this chapter was particularly intriguing. Although I have no way of knowing whether this was intentional on your part or not, some of it was faintly reminiscent of some of the allegations made during the Terri Schiavo affair in Florida last year (your profile doesn't say where you live, so you could be virtually anywhere on the globe for all that I know). Hermione must be one incredibly powerful witch in order to shatter china in Severus's defense despite her infirmity! I hope there will be another update soon...
Author's Response: I didn't use Schiavo stuff intentionally, but I couldn't help but be touched by the very human tragedy of it all (for all sides).
I'm glad you liked the chapter! I'll probably update again this week-end. Hermione's next! Thanks for reviewing...Annie |

Wow. This gets more and more interesting with every chapter! Keep it up!
Author's Response: Thanks...two more to go, not long now! Annie |
