| I have been trying to string together the clues you have left about what Snape's mage-power may be. It seems like it is something he doesn't want well-known (ie, conflicts with his image) and something that Voldemort would find useless. Is it that he can provide comfort to others? I can't see Voldemort wanting that skill and it doesn't mesh well with "the evil potions master" persona. It also might explain Hermione's reaction to his touch while Malfoy passed by and at the mid-wife's house. |

| Hermione's attacker was fantastic - a good turn. Snape's a right bastard, allowing her to reach such a state. But he's always done things his own way, and the outburst was pretty cool. I'm enjoying this story a great deal - the Mage concept keeps expanding in cool and unexpected ways. Can't wait for the next part! |
