Very, very good dialogue and interaction between all parties involved! I rather thought Snape wouldn't have been thrown off his game so much, but the fact that he was is supportable by canon and my mind's been rather fogged by fanon. We all like to think he's got all the answers and can sling them off lightning fast and could match wits with the gods when he doesn't, but the truth is that certain things can make him vulnerable. It was likely a good thing for Hermione to see that, especially now given her situation. She's going to need something to look to for comfort in her subconscious till she hears from Snape! Once again, Lance was very helpful, a worthy successor to Dumbledore without being a clone. |
