| I think one of the things that make this story so great is the fact that you don't rush your writing at all. I absolutely love that this fic has taken so many chapters for something like this to finally happen, and it simply gives me butterflies in my tummy. I can honestly say that your updates are the highlights of my week, so I'll be quite sad when the updates will come to a bittersweet yet inevitable end.
Lastly, I wish you luck in finding a publisher for your novel. If there is someone who deserves to get their novel published it must be you, for you are surely one of my favourite authors :) Best of luck! | I loved this chapter the first time round and I love it this time round too!! I'm so glad you've re-posted it.
I know how hard it can be to face rejections when you do creative things (I'm a graphic designer) - it has taken me years (and many bouts of depression and lack of self confidence) to achieve what I've wanted to in my career but I did, and you will too - you are incredibly talented - plus as you will know, the great J K Rowling faced her fair share of rejections. | Yay!! Finally! I LOVED this chapter! Thank you so much for updating. Honestly, the way you have had Severus explain the situation of his marriage and the way we actually see Hermione's, I say this isn't adultery.. And if people can't get that or the situation then they are very closed minded. I, myself have seen first handed what adultery can do to a family (my stepfather did this to my mom) and its not pretty and my mom was head over heels in love with him. However, for Severus and Hermione the thing is, they are both in a Loveless marriage. So I say, Go for it! Keep up the great work and keep your chin up.. What's that old saying.. | I loved this chapter! The feelings before and after were very believable, like in real life.
I am sorry that Amazon didn't choose the story because those two chapters were brilliant. Please don't give up, the right publisher will surely come soon. Publishers have to consider a lot of stories and so it's likely that they miss a really good one in that heap. Author's Response: Thank you, klara, you really are a star! | an adorable chapter. i loved the story years ago and i love it now. i am so hooked that i check for updates regularly, but always also regreting each chapter because i know it brings me closer to the end. twisted thing with good stories.
as for your yla-book: keep your head up. the problem with good writers is that they are often very sensitive. which might be the reason for them being good writers... anyway, please grow a thick skin. just let the rejections pearl off like raindrops on a lotus. you are very good. just keep an keep trying.

| As I was reading this chapter, I recalled Ring of Fire, and I did wonder what had happened to it. I loved this chapter, much more than I did the first time around! I felt the rawness of her pain in knowing that she had done something wrong by doing something right. I stand by your decision to not post the warning. I think it was the right call. As you said if I were holding this novel in my hands a little flag wouldn't pop up and spoil the surprise for me! I look forward to reading the new chapters! And I'll be searching for Ring of Fire myself, though I think the last time I read it, I had saved it on a floppy disk!
