| uh my review got deleted; take two: i'm glad to see Hermione thinking clearly, making better decisions, getting some spunk back. I'd like to think that Severus watches Hermione closely because he wants to see what she's feeling as he cares; not necessarily romantic yet but definitely respect. Ole Lance seems like one of those characters which are so awesome their awesomeness would explode your head so they have to have noddle-incidentals in some one else tale instead. |

Anyways, I wanted to slow clap everything Serverus pointed out to Hermione. Ican see an odd resigned contentment in Severus' manner which is thrown off course by Hermione (in a good way). I like this Severus; it makes a lot of sense for his circumstances and is much more...mature, I suppose. Balanced, maybe? It's nice, what ever it is, but it would certainly do with what Hermione brings to the table eventual so lovely set up and development and whatnot I guess is what I am saying (and it is like 3AM as I write this as my blabby incoherence shows!)
I can really see Hermione and Sev having friendship before romance comes into the picture and I really appreciate that. |

| Ole Lance is the kicks. Sev's possessiveness of his lab is adorable (but also sad cuz if his marriage sucks then having this perfect way with potioning is something of a void filler, eh?)
Theo's ghastliness is a perfect. Just all the right wrongness for Hermione to be screwed over, but (foolishly) hope for something better to come with him still. |

| Ginny and Snape's bit of interaction was charming. And Cordelia's manipulation for some silly tradition makes for some good lovel(y/less) slytherin marriage-ness :)
Hermione and Theo rings desperately need Mount Doom.

| I love the flow of this: Mrs. Granger going for the $$monies$$ dress because Hermione's being pulled away, Hermione saying yes to everyone else's planning, Severus just saying goodnight to Theo instead of arguing against the marriage, Hermione crying at happiness but then at what she's giving up. Each step feels like another shovel-full reaching six-feet under. |

| Hermione is making me so nervous with her head-first-ness. I love the tragedy of Snape seeing she could be stuck in a marriage like his; he's such a Cassandra. |

| I really like that you choose this poem for this one; it gets at the irony in how Theo and Hermione misjudge each other. |
