I can't type and laugh at the same time and I crack up every time I re-read that line. You will undoubtedly be relieved to know that I forgive you. No, really! I forgive you for this cliffie, because you were kind enough to warn me after my last review that there would BE an evil cliffie, and I wasarmed ahead of time. Clever, clever one you are, with fabulous use of words. I eagerly anticipate the next installment. Author's Response: Hooray! I'm forgiven for being evil! | I have to admit I don't like this Hermione very much. Her attitude is somewhat annoying. Author's Response: Though I wish you'd been a little more specific in your criticism, I get the impression that you're not going to like Hermione in the next chapter, either. The good news is that chapter seven has no Hermione in it, so at least you can find out in that chapter if it's just my Hermione that you dislike or the characterisation in general. I admit that I don't write student!Hermione as well as (I think) I write adult!Hermione, and the hardest part of this challenge for me was getting the two of them together somewhat believably while she's so young. And I think Hermione's been somewhat annoying since her first scene in PS/SS, but I still love her. | |||
