| excellent chapter. the final salute by albus... or should i say the salute the boys gave... now would that have happened when one of the others finished the pack... everyone else waking to a sticky mess... what happen with harry/ron/draco... lol great reading waiting for more.. | I had expected Snape to put up more of a fight, quite frankly, but this is a very cool chapter. Well done, 42! Author's Response: I think Snape was more undone by Hermione's surprise appearance than he let on. And there are other strange elements in play, as you will see in the next two chapters. | I like how you've written Hermione so she can think along Snape's lines. Figuring out where his little test was going, for instance. I like the use of Absinthe, and I also like your subtle Phantom reference towards the end of the story. This has been a great story to read, and I can't wait for more! I hadn't consciously realized that the burning bridge bit definitely rose from the image that the line, "the bridge is crossed, so stand and watch it burn," seared into my brain.
