And that is why we love him so.
They're just too noble for their own good, doing the right thing like that! But I am glad they fulfilled Kind-Snape's need, rather than leaving him to explode--he existed to give the original the freedom to say the words out loud and discover that his feelings were indeed returned. Yay! |

| Much as I will miss Kind-Snape, I think his exigency is very close to being satisfied. Whereas List-Snape and Prude-Snape have little hope of every succeeding (too little and too much). Yet, in reality, they are ALL him, and they all need her to exist. |

| Kind!Snape is immensely wise in having her start with the original, as it gives her the experience with the one whose need is greatest but also most far-reaching...and the one with the the long-term consequences who will need to deal with those consequences after all this wonderfulness os done with. It allows him to be the one who introduces Hermione to everything this can be. Clever man indeed. And lucky, lucky girl! |
