| I had to go look up pachyderm. I think you made my day with just that word. Although I still haven't quite puzzled out what you meant with that sentence. Anyway. Next chapter... Author's Response: It's in reference to "For Someone Special" (aka FSS), which is my ruddy (censored) epic posted over at www.RestrictedSection.org, same pen-name. I put rollerskating elephants into that one to warn of some of the more morally ambiguous scenes (slash, etc). I originally teased Holly, the mod handling my chapters as I submitted them, with a promise of rollerskating elephants in a future chapter...and the joke came to life like Frankenstein's Pachyderm. It's been a running joke in some of my fanfics ever since. ~Lotm P.S. Just to warn you, FSS is over half a million words long, 163 chapters including the Epilogue. Most everyone has said they liked it, though. | |||
