| well, i would say that i can't wait for an update so i can see what will happen next, but i think that i already have a good mental image (or several as the case may be)! interesting story, very erotic. | WOW!! This is such a compelling read, and not just for the smut. I guess I'm just a softy, I like it when PWP has some romance and love in it. Kind!Snape is very interesting to read, as is Original!Snape. I think Prude!Snape has been mis-named, since he appears to be joining in the orgy along with the others. Looking forward to the next chapter. Author's Response: Nope, he's not misnamed. He's just prudish where Hermione's sexuality is concerned. The original Severus Snape (of which he is an exact copy, save for his most overriding concern) isn't a prude where his own sexuality is concerned, after all. ~Lotm | |||

| It's so interesting to me when I see such startlingly clear manifestations of the line between PWP's and "real stories" as I always see in your work. Pure smut (now *there's* an interesting oxymoron *g*), hot though it may be, does nothing for me personally; there has to be something else if I'm going to be engaged in a piece of fiction. But your stories are always so character-centric (i.e., there's no way to see the two...er...multiple participants as anyone other than Hermione and Snape) and they're so focused on the characters' emotions, that they never cross over into complete PWP territory, no matter how much sex there is. Very nice work: I look forward to reading the rest of "An Army of Snapes" *very* much. Author's Response: Thank you--that's a wonderful set of compliments! Truth is, I have a terrible time leaving plot *out* of a fic. Go ahead, read "A Beautiful Sight", and tell me there's no plot--it's obvious there *was* a plot somewhere in the background, since Hermione wound up as Severus' pregnant, blissfully satisfied wife...and it was only a 100-word challenge of my condensing abilities.
