| How nice to see another story from you, and so quickly! The way you described Snape's anguish at splitting his soul and the enormity of what Dumbledore asked of him, was very moving. And I loved the line: "Hermione had never known someone so brave, and so afraid at the same time." You also described perfectly the utter futility of the Trio's camping/horcrux search. How could Dumbledore have expected three teenagers to accomplish what he could not, and in so little time? DH needed a lot more Snape and a lot less camping, so I am enjoying your version! | i quite liked the story as you've written so far.
unfortunately there is what appears to be plagerism in your second chapter. it could be crazy coincedence but the author windwings story cornered (that was published earlier this year) has the description you've given regarding snape cleaning hermoine's face after being hit with the bluder.
Please consider a rewrite as I liked the potential of your story and even accidental plagerism isn't fun for anyone. Author's Response: Thank you for your review. Author's Response: I looked up the story and yes, it does bear a remarkable resemblance. I can only conclude I've read this story in the past and it stuck with me in not a good way. I feel terrible about this, and if you think I should withdraw the story all together I will not argue with you. I cannot apologise for this. | I do prefer to think of Hermione as having a hot affair with Severus throughout DH as it makes the camping scenes rather easier to bear. Author's Response: LOL, I know!
