| While I personally can't ever see Snape and Tonks together, it was a wonderful premise for this first chapter. It was absolutely fantastic!! |

| Really loved this, especially that opening chapter! I could well understand Hermione's reticence - after being emotionally blackmailed into accepting Ron's proposal (and that's effectively what a public proposal is, esp in front of friends & family) she has to try and make more effort to work things out with him, and on the other hand, no matter how much chemistry there is between her and Snape, he's still a bit of a bastard. Which is half the problem - no matter what any woman says, we still love the Bad Boys! The only thing missing from the fic would be seeing more of Hermione's life with Ron and her attempts to sort things out with him (which is to say "settle for him"), but too much of that wouldn't entirely have fitted in with the story and the back and forth POVs. |

| Oh, and for sure I thought you were going to run with the Ron's A DeathEater trope there and have him cheating on Hermione. Would have been very OOC for Tonks to have an affair with her friend's boyfriend, but Ron would have been OOC first! Your way is better... Much more deliciously awkward!!! |
