(Sorry, I can't pretend I knew that otherwise - I know nada about the show. :) ) Anyway, interesting start. I wasn't expecting PWP (which isn't really my thing) in the first chapter, but you did it well. I liked this chapter better, though. I can't even begin to reconcile myself to Severus and Tonks, so I'm glad your Severus can't, either. He's also very in-character: He knows he's motivated by self-interest and he's okay with that, yet his thoughts about Hermione possibly making a more suitable companion for hold out the hope that he might turn out better eventually. Two questions: When Hermione said this was her anniversary with Ron, is that a dating anniversary or a wedding one? Things are going to get complicated if it's the latter. And where is Harry? Did he make it out of the final battle alive? All of this is a long way of saying that you've got me interested in seeing what happens next in your story. Keep up the good work! So, you've actually read chapters 1 and 4 of the story. To fix things, these reviews left in the wrong chapter 2 will probably be deleted - I'm amazingly sorry for that, but I have zero control.
