| This is a fantastic, slowly unwinding tale, and I think your use of the two POVs is quite creative to an extent - occasionally I could have done with something new in the second POVs, but I still read and enjoyed them, I didn't skim over them by any means. Your opening chapter is one of the best I've seen for grabbing a reader's attention. I knew what was going to happen after their encounter on the ladder, but I still reacted at the entrance of Tonks. I felt a bit sorry for Severus in this tale. Although I understood Hermione's feelings somewhat, I feel that she could have tried harder with Ron and Severus. Though, I suppose, realistically, we often don't know the best course to take until it's too late. Overall, this story feels like a wonderful beginning - you certainly know how to craft suspense and engage a reader's interest with careful characterisation, and allowing the plot to slip out bit by bit. However, I didn't feel like it ended? I definitely craved some more, and not just because this is good writing. This is obviously your story, but if you did ever feel inclined to write more, I think there is more to be told. All of that aside, thank you for a truly enjoyable read. | Very good story! Would I say Perfect? No. I honestly think Hermione came across as a bit of a cocktease, and a nerd and led Severus on for WAY too long. IMHO, if I were Severus, I think I would have thumbed my nose at her halfway through the 18 months. She knew he was interested for a L-O-N-G time, yet she (as we say here in my area of the USA) dicked around for a horribly long time. Mean and inconsiderate, in my book! But all in all, the writing was great - I loved the two POV's, though I skimmed through the second POV's pretty much when I knew the dialogue. And I'm so glad *of course* that they ended up with each other FINALLY! |

| Wow! I think "perfect" is the perfect word to describe this awesome fanfic. You built the plot as excrutiatingly slow as the sexual tension between Severus and Hermione grew without letting it drift into nothingness or boredom. Your description of Severus being seduced by seducing Hermione was really erotic but maintained still a very distinguished style. I think I'm going to have a look at your other fanfictions now. You really deserve a place on my "Favorite Author" list. |

| Vetiver by Carven is a men's fragrance, and my favorite of that scent. It's very basic, not pretty at all; at first I didn't like it, but...it changes one's mind about it. Rather like Severus, in fact. One thing you might consider changing (even though this is not a recent story) is four paragraphs up from the end. Even if Minerva is correcting English titles to "Master" instead of "Mistress", would she not still use proper Latin endings? Hermione is then a Hogwarts "Alumna", rather than "Alumnus". Wonderful chapter. |
