"A light cotton shirt for summer, poet-style with string-ties, loose sleeves and it’s short!" Ginny passed the light blue garment to her through the dressing room curtain. Hermione slipped into it. It hung just below her bum, showing off her legs under the generous hemline. "Well he can't say I didn't pick one out that wasn't my size," she said, turning to look at her backside in the mirror. The hemline hiked up, nearly showing her knickers. "Gin, the front comes down too far, it shows my bra." "Then it's perfect, right?" Ginny asked. "Is it see through? It looked pretty sheer on the hanger." Hermione pushed the curtain aside, and Ginny grinned, delightedly. "Blimey, you can see your figure right through the thing!" she exclaimed. "Now all it needs is a bit of lace, right?" Hermione teased, grinning. "See if they have a second one." Hermione quickly changed back into her clothes. Ginny was waiting, holding a second nightshirt of the same fabric and style only in an off-white. "Truthfully, I don't think you'll need lace on them," Ginny said as Hermione paid the shop assistant. "Ginny?" Hermione asked as they left the shop. "What if it doesn't work? I mean he really hasn't shown one shred of interest." "Hermione, it has only been a little over a month. He probably still sees you as his ex-student. Sometimes it takes a bit for a bloke to realize you've grown up. Besides, we are taking about Severus Snape. I don't think he's been interested in a witch since Harry's mum." "You're right," Hermione said with a heavy sigh. "His Patronus was still a doe when he lured Harry to find Gryffindor's sword. I like it. I wish they werent so short, but I guess that's the point, short and sweet. Is something brewing? (Oh god, I just realized that was a bad pun.) Author's Response: Yes, these are my weekly responces to the Potter_Place Dictionary Drabble, which is give to us on P_P weekly by my beta S_W_69. (So you know I've got to try them!) They are supposed to be short drabbles (I can't write only 100 words!) that use the vocabulary words she gives us. It's fun. My goal is to take each weeks and create a story only giving you brief glances of each Friday/Saturday. To answer your question: Oh yes something is brewing and it's not only in the cauldrons!
