| Oh how I adored this story!! I am new to fanfic and had no idea what I was getting into when I started looking for Anything dealing with Snape. Imagine my delight in finding his voice over and over again...and then THIS treasure. Your understanding of the characters simply took my breath away. I laughed so many times, blushed and got teary-eyed, too. Just a myriad of emotions! Marvelous. Just...MARVELOUS. I can't wait to read more of your work. I wish I could leave a rating of a Bazillion. | It's Saturday so I have time to review. I love the bonding! I love the way the magic of the families are bound together. That's perfect! I wish we were all wizards and it was real. | I apologize for not writing more reviews. I've adored this story!!!! I have just wanted to move on to the next chapter without stopping. I've been reading for a week before bedtime ... when my family will leave me alone, so I only get 1-2 chapters a night. I've read it before long ago, but I have memory problems so I never remember the details of a story and so it's always with a sense of anticipation that I go to the next chapter. I think you can congratulate yourself! I've read SS/HG obsessively for at least 15 years or more when it was in it's baby stages and hardly anyone made sure it was even actually readable almost exclusively, and last night I had the most awesome Snape dream! I've never had such a dream before. I wish I could remember so that I could write it. He was cursed and frozen in stasis and the room of requirement had been burned where he was kept. I had to go through 6 steps to completely release him from the curse but I can't remember most of them. It was romantic and dangerous and spiritual. His body, soul and spirit were trapped separately. I think I like your Severus so much that it helped fuel my dream.
I especially want to thank you for clarifying the bat boogy hex for me this chapter. I'm on chapter 26 or 27 I think. I've always skimmed over hex and silently wondered exactly what it entailed. I'd thought, "do you have bat boogers all over you?" But bat shaped boogers in your nose is perfect! Maybe it's your interpretation or maybe somewhere it has been specified in cannon and I just don't remember. I haven't read the books for years and years. They each got darker and less enjoyable and I only continued because I needed to know. But once I found fanfiction it has been my bread and butter, my escape from reality, my solace in sadness. I only read happy endings. If I get too worried, I'll skip to the end to decide if I plan to keep reading. I'm apparently a weird person who prefers to not be surprised and it doesn't ruin stories or movies for me to know what to expect in advance. Real life sucks too much for my recreational reading to cause intense anxiety or sadness. I also don't want to be made a better person for reading or watching it. Like I said, real life sucks enough and the older you get the less judgmental you get about others in their own lives and I live my life to help others. That makes me a better person enough. I have too much empathy for characters in stories or movies. I can cried like a baby for 3 at the end of Cold Mountain. Thank you for this story and all the time, energy and love you put into it even when planing your own wedding! I love you for it! You've made at least one person's live better for your effort.
