| I reread this story, completely. It is true to character and yet utterly creative and heartwarming. I completed this on my 35th wedding anniversary. | Lovely chapter but I didn't understand why Hermione couldn't use a spell to clean up her clothes? Author's Response: Because the ~*~drama~*~ and also I've decided that bloodstains are just as hard to get out with magic as they are with soap and water. :) | |||

| I'm don't know if you will ever see this, but I have to say this has become my favorite SSHG story. I have read it so many times and the dynamic between Severus and Hermione is just wonderful. | This is such a lovely story! I did wish that they could have found a way to restore his voice (you know, because it's just that amazing!) | I've been reading this bit by bit over the last couple of weeks, and I want to tell you that I really enjoyed your characterisation of Snape here. It was really an interesting idea to depict him without a voice, particularly when we are quite guilty in this ship of seriously capitalising on that aspect of him! Very brave of you and it really, really paid off. He still had his voice in every other sense, but it was fascinating to see him evolve around it, particularly in regards to growing closer to Hermione. The relationship here seemed quite organic and believable. You've written a really lovely and unique tale here.
