| I've spent the last two days engrossed in this story and had been saving any comments for the end, but given the tears welling up in my eyes I couldn't not say something about this chapter! The 'voice' you have given Severus is perfect and that proposal was one of the most romantic scenes I have ever read. I just *knew* there was more to the "greasy git" and it's refreshing to read a story which allows him to reveal a very well hidden capacity to love while preserving the fact that he's still a sarcastic and rather vindictive bastard on the surface.
I will stop rambling now and return to the story. Bravo! Author's Response: Thank you so much. The proposal scene took quite a while and four revisions to get right. (It helped that Pride and Prejudice was in theaters at the time ;-) ) I'm happy that you enjoyed it. Cheers, Ana | |||
