| For some reason I never imagined Severus would disagree with Lily's choice to die for her son. I kind of figured he would do the same thing. It kind of made your Severus unlikeable to me, which is difficult because I love him! I'm still curious to see where this goes though. | |||

| I don't dislike the chapter in general, but I don't like how you had him sleeping for a week and the wounds still fresh. In canon JKR had it that Malfoy's arm was healed in a second after Buckbeak attacked him. There is nothing poisonous about a Hippogriff so I thought that was kind of strange. The shampooing was a bit much, but otherwise, good chapter. Author's Response: Debts was my first attempt at writing anything, really and was started in September of 2005. I had no real plot starting out, and so yes, bent canon to get the premise going. If you can stick it out, I promise it gets better as you get deeper. Thanks for reading. | Interesting start. I like how canon compliant you kept it. I have not read a lot of fics that actually attempt to exonerate Snape throughout the course of the story and am looking forward to seeing where this goes. | |||

| This is a fantastic story. I love the way you don't make life easy for either Hermione or Severus. Bella surely is one nasty piece of work, Severus should have finished her off properly as soon as he had the chance. Off to read next chapter now. Author's Response: Thanks.
