| Wonderful, wonderful story. I've read maybe 50 marriage law, forced bonding, and forced marriage fics, and this is really one of the best. The drama is so understated that the beauty of your characterizations really shines. I've never ever liked the way Ashwinder has a drawing of the kissing couple at the top of the page, because I found it indiscreet. I didn't want to be criticized by my family and friends if they saw me reading fanfic. Suddenly, during this story, the drawing became dear to my heart. I am astonished at how your story has brought these characters to life, and how I find myself conflicted and amused by the contrast between realizing that this is, "only fiction," and yet yearning for the characters to be happy. Congratulations on this. |

| This was well written. You should write more stories! I will put you in my favorites in hopes. It would have been okay to make this longer. More interactions with other characters so that he has to grow and she would figure out his angst. |

| I really liked this story and thought it was very well written, but I agree with one of the other reviewers that, with all the time you spent with a set up to their situation, it seems very unfinished. I expected to see that it was still in progress, and felt very jarred that it was over. I felt that there was much more set up than the ending solved. But, as I said, I did feel it was very well written, so good job on that. |

| I really liked this! Very clever take on the Marriage Law idea, and your Snape actually reads like Snape instead of some Victorian rake with his name. Two thumbs up! |

Beutiful writing, it all seemed to fit together perfectly. It didn't feel quite finished though, and it needs more than a "so many years later" type epilogue, this seems like a great start to a 25 chapter story. But oh well, I enjoyed it immensly none the less.
Author's Response: As much as I would love to continue the story and see what happens to them, I just don't have a mind for plot! I'm glad you enjoyed the bits I was able to squeeze out of my imagination, and thanks for reading! |
