Most excellent story.

This story was a joy to read. I'm a firm believer in happy endings in fiction, because we hardly ever get them in reality (as was pointed out by the late Rodney Dangerfield, bless him). I have no more idea of what Jo Rowling has in mind for our beloved characters than does anyone else, but whatever happens this alternative universe of love and marriage and children for Severus and Hermione will always please me best.

Good epilogue, and I think you know enough about childbirth to have written a very believeable scene from the worried father's point of view. And yes, newborns do look at everything around them. They are particularly attracted by human eyes! A new baby will stare with fascination into his mother's, father's, or anybody's eyes -- that's how they bond with the adults in their lives, and inspire fierce love and protectiveness in their parents. Good story. Good job.

P.S. The correction needed is in Chapter 9. I really wish these 'Review Story' boxes came with indicators of which chapter they're in! ~Lotm

Um...someone has probably mentioned this before, but the students would most likely be coming back in the first week of January, and the official start of spring for the Northern Hemisphere isn't until March 21st or thereabouts, depending upon where the Earth stands in its orbit around the sun at the moment of midnight at the International Dateline. (The official start of winter is December 21st or thereabouts.) I do love reading and re-reading this fic, honestly, but every time I see that part, it sorta jolts me off of Earth and onto some strange planet somewhere just a parsec or two from the Crab Nebula instead... Since the story is completed, I know I can't beg for More, Please, like I normally would (and this really is a good story), but could you, um...fix, please?

Many, many thanks, and thank you for this wonderful story, ~Lotm

This story was so cute. I love the epilogue. I love the whole thing. This was so worth it. Thank you for writing such a great and emotion filled story. Well done!

What a sweet story. I really enjoyed it. For someone who doesn't have children, you did a good job of writing that part. I have a one year old and a two year old. I was so tired, yet so happy after their births. And I was also told not to exert myself for a few days. Just like you wrote! Great job!

"Remus had visions of dog-Sirius howling at the moon when he heard the news" --* snort!*. “I have been deprived of your presence in my bed for far too long and for that you shall pay,” he hissed in anticipation against her ear as he stopped beside the bed, his words making her heart beat faster. “I shall keep you with me until I am certain I have wrung every drop of desire from you, every moan that comes from the heart of you as I take you...” --holyfuckingshit, this is a HOT line!
