| Great chapter but far too short! I could do with one many times as long! ;) Sure am hoping that Snape has fits of jealousy when Hermione dances with Harry, and I'm twisting in anxiety over here with hope that the others will find out about her engagement before they leave! Definitely they can't be left thinking things have cooled between her and Snape! I think he should make a scene on the dance floor in whatever manner his snakey mind can devise. | Great story all throughout. I really enjoyed your unique Snake of Slytherin. YOur characters fit very well into my idea of canon. Please be a bit more careful with using the apostrophe to show ownership/possessive. You often leave it out. I liked the idea of Hermione's visions of the previous wearers of the ring...but...SILVER??Come on, he's a pureblood of great class with the finest linen shirts etc.. I can't believe it would be a soft,relatively inexpensive metal. I think his family would have Platinum or at the very least white gold. Just my thoughts but in no way detracts from this fantastic story. Also, you might want to consider changing the awkward dog-Sirius to Padfoot to differntiate between Sirius' two forms. |
