| very, very well written :) OC for snape, but done in such a way that the reader can disregard it. Author's Response: Thank you, carrielemieux! While I agree that, for the Snape of Book 1-6, this is very probably OC, this is written as a post-war story. We have no idea what a post-war Snape would actually be like, (especially given that we don't know exactly how the war will end) and we can only attempt to extrapolate his future personality and his reactions to situations based on the limited clues that JKR has given us. While there is little to support any outward display of dismay within the pages of canon, one cannot assume that there would never be an instance where his distress would be so great that he wouldn't be able to contain his emotions. While he was cold and calculating in the face of AK-ing Albus, we have no idea what he did once he was alone and able to reflect on the events of that fateful evening. **shrugs** Who knows?
