So sad! :-( Lupin is one of my favorites... but very descriptive and well written. Nice job!

Author's Response: Thanks, Vega! Lupin is one of my favorites, too, and I hated to do it, but it was one of those things that absolutely wouldn't let go of me once I'd gotten the notion in my head. I'm glad you enjoyed it despite the character death, and I appreciate you letting me know that you read it. Thanks, again!

It took me a few days to read this because I have to be in the mood for angst, but I'm glad I finally did. Sometimes, I think angst=unhappy ending, but in this story, it was not the case. I thought it ended on a very hopeful note depite the circumstance of what brought Hermione and Snape together.

Author's Response: I completely agree with you, wolfen. I, too, have to be in the mood for angst, and I usually read it with the expectation that things will not turn out as I want them to. Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on your perspective) I am a purveyor of happy endings, and while this isn't specifically a "happy" ending, it is one that holds promise, therefore itqualifies, at least in my mind. I'm not sure I could write an unhappy ending. Anyway, thank you so very much for deciding to read my little piece, and I'm so glad that you liked it.

Beautiful... touching... moving... tender... vulnerable... Thanks!

Author's Response: No, thank you! Such eloquent words... I'm truly flattered that you find my story all of these things, and I'm so thrilled that I have generous readers like you. Thank you so much for taking the time to offer your praise for my little story -- it means a great deal.

Wow! That was intensly passionate and just overall amazing. It was a beautiful, beautiful piece of work, and very realistic. I also enjoyed the style- keep writing!

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm thrilled that it was intense, and that you enjoyed it so much, but what means the most is that you thought it was realistic. Thank you again for your encouraging words! They're very much appreciated.

I'm impressed. You write with a style that I so often miss in stories. This is a masterpiece.

Author's Response: Thank you so much. This was a bit of a departure for me, having written mostly romance and fluff before, but the plot bunny refused to go away, and I decided to try my hand at a little angst. I'm so glad you liked it! Thanks for taking the time to let me know your thoughts.

This story left me truly breathless. I was captivated from the first word and remained captive throughout. You have a wonderful writing style that combines passion with classiness and your fortunate readers are the beneficiaries of your efforts. Bravo!!

Author's Response: **Blush!** Good heavens... I'm speechless! I'm absolutely thrilled that you found my story captivating and compelling, and that I was able to successfully convey all the intensity and passion that I envisioned in this situation. I thank you so very much for reading and for leaving such a supportive review... I truly appreciate your kind words.
