It is not an easy situation for Severus... And I think it is worth than in the previous chapter.... I can't believe that Hermione lost her memory once again (even if a potion helped her). It all starts to get a bit confusing I think with the constant tapering in and out of 'memories'. The change in style(i.e. italics) helps, but I'll confess to being a bit confused in the first paragraphs.

I think the decison to stick to Snape's POV because of the 'feel' it'd add to the story is sound. It does seem rather claustrophobic because of the his focus on his anxiety.

I'm wonder what the next chapter'll hold and *pauses a beat* WOOT! less than 2 weeks to HBP!

Author's Response: Its good to know these things. I'll try to make it less confusing in the future. Although the idea is to simulate real memories. We don't remember whole events but bits and pieces. I suppose it would be confusing if someone were to look into our head...which is why they have pensieves in the WW to sort things out a little better. Thanks for reading!

Vanityfair, continue this story ASAP please. I love it. Lots of raw emotion. How many chapters do you expect this lovely tale will take? Looking forward to each and every one of them. Thanks! Author's Response: I'm not sure exactly how many. I keep plotting out the next several chapters as I go, but then inevitably when I sit down to write it comes out much different. The ending is written already, so I do know where I'm supposed to end up, and you don't have to worry about an unfinished piece. Thanks for reading!
