I offered a story for a prize on exchange_bingo and madeleone picked it. This was her request: I've given it some thought and here's my request. HG/SS, romance, I like higher rated stories, but smut isn't necessarily required. I do like Hermione to be a bit older, though, not a school girl, or immediately after the war, but a few years later. No romantic relationship to Ron please, or if there was, it was long ago and ended peacefully. A happy ending for our pair is a must. But I keep thinking how guys do such stupid things sometimes, make stupid bets or promise stupid payments for losses then feel honor bound to carry them out.
So it should involve a bet of some kind. Or the payment for a bet. The wager could be between Severus and Lucius, or Minerva or Draco or whoever you choose; but it somehow has to involve Hermione, either the bet itself or in the payment for it. Other than that I give you free rein. I'm looking forward to whatever you come up with.
Here you go, Maggie! I hope I came close.
