| Oh my God. I loved that. I was all happy and gooey inside, but then you had to remind me of that seed of doubt. My naive hopes are shattered. I'm not sure I'll be able to finish a SS/HG fic with my usual lighthearted manner.
This has impacted me strangely and I have a terrible feeling of what if McGonagall is right? "She had never known her to be wrong." Oh gods, this feeling... |

| I find it astonishing I have never found this story before. Thank God for 'Random'. I have just favorited you as an author, and will likewise do the same for the story. Quite insightful, especially your second chapter. Minerva's observations could not have been made by someone not at least middle-aged. You are a hell of a writer, and I'm sorry you only have the one story here. Thank you down to the ground for having written it! |

| I believe I read this story ages ago and surprisingly stumbled across it after finding an old rec list and trying to satisfy my HG/SS cravings. You had a lengthy note of "this is OOC," but I find your Snape still IC and I find many would agree. Would Snape have actually had an affair with a student? You're right, probably not, thus making the whole fandom OOC... but that's the beauty and challenge of HG/SS--turning that concept into something IC and convincing. I also find it funny that I've left a review right after Leraiv Snape on probably five different fics in the last few days... Leraiv, if we're reading the same fics, GO BACK TO WRITING YOUR BRILLIANT FICS! |

| Excellent fic - I am disappointed that the fic it is based on is no longer on the web - I found the idea of going to find it very intriguing. I love the letter, and mourn the fact that at the end of the longer story, Snape is dead. Although Minerva's insights into his psyche are amazing, and maybe it wouldn't have worked out anyway. Wonderful job, I'm delighted to have the chance to read this! |
