Reviews for Heart With No Companion

Ooh...hmm. I'm sure there's more to it than this, but I'd have to go back and read the other chapters to make a fair assesment. But, yes, basically, since they were touching when the spell hit, part of Hermione that should have been lost forever was transfered to Severus. Be that her soul, her aura (which has now overwhelmed his), her essence THRICE divided *giggle*... it's hard to say. There is something essentially keeping her from being restored...how looking at Albus was like looking through a dirty pane of glass (am I recalling correctly?), how Snape initially felt entering her mind was like crawling through mud, etc. Their repeated interactions are having some effect. I am worried that perhaps it is an adverse effect, only working to cement her further into her prison, perhaps dragging Snape in with her. Ah! I'm just not sure. Something along those lines, anyway...

I'm getting worried here... very worried. On a song note I was listening to Billt Joel last night and his song "All about Soul" screamed HG/SS. Anyway I thought I'd leave a note (b-natural) to say how much O am enjoying this tale. J

Super awesome plot element! I'm finding myself sucked in by the intrigue now as well as the lemons! Whoo-hooo, double pleasure! I can't wait to see how this unweaves, I'm trying to speculate what the thing is that will solve it but am drawing a blank right now...too long a day at work, I guess.~HR

I haven't read the other reviews, so I may be saying what everyone's guessed already, but it seems clear that Snape has part of Hermione in him -- she keeps feeling empty without him, and I don't think it's simply about love. Nice reference to the Greek lovers ... I hope Snape doesn't turn around to peek before he drags her out of this living hell.

All the 'awakened with a kiss' stuff was a wonderful red herring, but I'm back to my original theory, that it's something to do with Jung, and Severus is Hermione's Animus -- her idealised male, which is why she's in love with him, and why he's at home (down to having his own rooms!) in her psyche. So the spell somehow cast out her own animus, leaving her missing a huge part of herself, which put her in a coma... and Severus, with his Legilimency, replaces it... but as he can't stay there, we have a problem. Though if this is on the right lines, why doesn't she wake up when he enters her mind?? Nope, you've got me well and truly puzzled... Loving it, anyway! Can't wait to see how it works out.

Alas my favorite author I am so happy that you updated. Now I will be able to enjoy my husband's 15th high school reunion this weekend. All the twists and turns have my head spinning. Speaking of heads. If he is creating these memories in her head is it possible for her to jump into his head? or even switching bodies? also a small typo you had hermione jumping off the coach- it was to be couch right? just asking. so many things i want to ask but i'm at a blank. thank you for updating. must check on dinner so as to not set off the smoke detector.
