| "before moaning into it like bad karaoke" I had to pause for a moment to regain my composure after reading that, and at several other times as well. How delightful this story is! And it's not simply a rushed bit of finally completing the deed, as is the case in the majority of fics and ultimately unsatisfying, but a whole damn humorous erotic novella! | "acknowledging that I continue to retain all of my feminist principles of course" Fuck YEAH (many might be put off by profanity, but I love it). All of this is so beautifully composed that it blows my mind, and Hermione is getting quite in over her head, isn't she? Author's Response: Um . . . you might have noticed that I'm pretty enamoured with profanity myself. I'm wondering if I've used 'cunt' more than any other fic on here - not sure if there is an inbuilt 'cuntometer' that I could consult? | |||

| Uh huh, it's all for the sake of authenticity. "deflated bush", "were now inching through the jungle" almost had me dying. Do I like comedy with my smut? Oh yes I do! And although I'm not a big fan of spanking (something about it just strikes me as ludicrous and I can't keep from laughing), my thoughts were along the lines of, "This is right. This is preordained.. This is thrice damned hot!" Have I mentioned already that your descriptions and flow of the actions are amazing? Author's Response: 'Do I like comedy with my smut? Oh yes I do!' - I'm glad, I have a couple more on here with a bit of a comedy bent and another that is a little more serious if you are interested. 'I'm not a big fan of spanking' - believe it or not, either am I. I don't find it erotic at all but am happy if my characters do. I needed a transitional activity before the progression to something more sexy. Glad it worked through - and that you appreciate the descriptions :) | |||

| Whoa, a roller coaster of a chapter! While I don't have the benefit (curse?) of a dictation spell, I know the feeling of confusion and shame from having to rely on outside sources to piece together what occurred the previous night. In regards to her parents, Hermione's actions and thoughts seem quite believable to me, and the juxtaposition of Severus' heartfelt prose with the previous tawdry works was masterful... And how long has "Hermione" and "Severus" been in the browser spell checker?! HOW DID I NOT NOTICE THIS BEFORE? I am pleased. Author's Response: 'I know the feeling of confusion and shame from having to rely on outside sources to piece together what occurred the previous night' - been there much too. Sev's prose was fun to write, although I'm not sure I could manage a whole fic of it - not quite enough profanity for my natural style I don't think. | |||

| I'm finding that I utterly adore the concept of Hermione and Severus writing smut together, albeit (especially) grudgingly. The windup, the delivery, and the tension are exceptional. Author's Response: It has certainly been enjoyable to think about the process from both of their perspectives. Severus' POV is rarely referenced but his word are certainly there. | |||
