| i seemed to have missed this story and have absolutely fallen in love with it. What a wonderful way with words you have and how they flow effortlessly. I was so wrapped up in the story and then realized it was at the second chapter. I so love a distraught, lonely Snape who believes he is not worthy of love. | Voldy's ending was a bit....unexpected and I felt like it didn't totally belonged in the story. I did laughed out loud though xD It's funny., I really enjoy your depiction of their 'relationship' Keep up the good work! Author's Response: You are absolutely right, I could have left it be. I suppose I could insert a rather lame deus ex machina excuse about needing to be rid of Voldemort and Dumbledore, but I think my favourite explanation is that Tolin held me at gunpoint. ;) All kidding aside, I do appreciate the criticism. I am working to improve my writing, and hopefully next chapter will be up soon. | |||

| Presumably if Riddle had been shot *before* all the Horcruxes has been disposed of, he would simply have returned. But afterwards, I agree - why did no one simply shoot the blighter? He should at least have been afraid of that possibility - he spent his early years in the Muggle world in the heyday of Westerns, after all! Author's Response: Haha, yeah I agree. Back before book six was published, I wondered why none of the Muggle born witches or wizards at least thought of the possibility. However, I think Hermione in the first book sums up the explanation best when she says that most wizards lack logic. Oh well. | |||
