| A very enjoyable fic - I've had the "AR is too old to play Snape discussion many times, too - the character is only in his late 30's.
I do enjoy his portrayal in the movies, but, like you, MY Snape looks nothing like AR, but does sound very like him (The voice that dampened a thousand knickers!) |

Ha, the wrong question, indeed! I think Rickman's clouded all our minds when it comes to Snape. His looks, his voice, they're certainly part of the appeal. And although Rowling's described Snape's voice as 'silky', it's HIM I hear everytime I read a Snape sequence in the books or in fan fiction.
Anyway, about the story... I really, really liked it. I think Snape's bad looks ARE overdone, just as Hermione says, and this explanation of it is, though not entirely plausible, brought believably enough here. And their banter... ah, it just made me sigh in bliss. Well done!
