| Indeed, sonnets are not easy, but these are very beautiful and well-constructed; I particularly like the prose of the second, especially:
Affection never was bestowed on me,
And I was thankful to avoid the strings
Of weakness and of firm captivity,
Which Love, with fatal accuracy, brings.
It's the longest sentence after the first two, but the fourth line brings it to a wonderful completion as you punctuate the final line with coma pauses, specifically ending on one word: "brings" (alone as it appears/sounds after the pause). | That was perfect. Perfect. Not a word misplaced, beautiful to the ear, exactly as a sonnet should work. Unbelievable. As true to character as it was true to form.
